I am a financial advisor at Black Oak Asset Management, bringing a 30-year background in corporate finance, business operations, and financial education to my work with individuals and families. Having earned a Master’s Degree in Finance, my career has been built on managing complex financial landscapes. However, my true passion has always been helping people navigate their personal finances with confidence.
My path to becoming a financial advisor began with a simple observation early in my career: many capable and hardworking individuals were not provided with a financial education to make informed decisions regarding their finances. I saw firsthand how a lack of financial understanding could create stress, even amongst highly successful individuals.
Throughout the past decade, I have designed and led financial literacy programs and worked one-on-one with individuals to connect their financial decisions with the lives they want to live. Growing up in a working-class household where the fundamentals of saving and investing were taught early showed me financial planning doesn’t need to be intimidating or overwhelming; instead, it should provide security and confidence. Outside of the office, you will find me spending time with my wife and two kids, hiking the North Georgia mountains, enjoying fast cars and karting, and trying to regain my love for the game of golf.
