Ryan Ledden, CFP®, RICP®

President & Financial Advisor

I am the founder and president of Black Oak Asset Management, where I work as a financial advisor and coach to individuals and families navigating important financial decisions, particularly as they approach and move through retirement. My career began in education and professional baseball, experiences that shaped how I think about preparation, discipline, and long-term success. Those early chapters continue to influence how I work with clients today, emphasizing thoughtful planning over short-term reactions.

I founded Black Oak to create a different kind of financial planning relationship, one centered on education, clarity, and steady guidance. I believe people make better decisions when they understand not only what they are doing, but why they are doing it. My role is to help connect financial choices to real-life goals, relationships, and priorities, while helping clients avoid common mistakes that can derail long-term plans

I work primarily with pre-retirees and retirees across Georgia and Northeast Florida, helping them evaluate retirement income strategies, investment alignment, and planning considerations as they transition from saving to spending. I also created the Perfect Game Retirement framework to help clients approach retirement with realistic expectations and a clear plan.

Outside the office, I remain actively involved in speaking, writing, and educational initiatives designed to help individuals better understand their financial lives. I value community, lifelong learning, and staying engaged in work that allows me to teach and coach beyond the office.
