I am a financial advisor at Black Oak Asset Management with a career rooted in teaching, stewardship, and education. I grew up in a household where financial responsibility was emphasized early, with my father working as a CPA. That foundation, combined with years spent in ministry and education, shaped my belief that financial planning works best when people understand the purpose behind each decision.
Before becoming a financial advisor, I worked as a pastor and educator, roles that allowed me to teach, coach, and support individuals and families through important life decisions. Transitioning into financial planning was a natural extension of that work, allowing me to continue helping people build stronger financial habits and clarity around their priorities
My focus is on helping clients establish strong financial fundamentals, including budgeting, cash flow, debt management, and behavioral habits, before moving into long-term planning and investing. I work with families and professionals throughout Georgia who value education, accountability, and a structured planning process.
Outside the office, I remain actively involved in my faith community and enjoy mentoring and teaching opportunities. I believe trust is built through patience, honesty, and clear communication.
