I am a financial advisor at Black Oak Asset Management with more than three decades of experience as an educator. Teaching has been at the center of my professional life, and transitioning into financial planning allowed me to continue helping people understand decisions that have a direct impact on their future.
I began my advisory career working primarily with educators, helping them navigate retirement systems, benefits, and long-term planning decisions. Over time, my practice expanded to include individuals and families from many backgrounds, but education remains central to how I work. I focus on helping clients clearly understand their current financial picture, establish realistic goals, and avoid common mistakes
My approach emphasizes clarity and expectation management. I believe people feel more confident when they understand where they stand and what is achievable. I work with clients throughout Northeast Georgia and Northeast Florida, guiding them through retirement planning with patience and practical insight.
Outside the office, I enjoy staying active through golf, aviation, and fitness. I recently earned my pilot’s license and enjoy connecting with people through aviation and community involvement in both Georgia and Florida.
