If you have young kids, you know that leaving them behind can be a massive challenge.
Whether it’s to go to work or to your first date night in three months, the kid will usually throw a fit, begging you not to leave. It can be heartbreaking, even if you’ll only be gone for a few hours.
Well, a young couple came up with a clever idea to make their one-year-old son stop crying when he noticed his mother wasn’t around.
High-resolution cut-outs were printed and placed around their son to trick him into thinking his mother was actually there, keeping an eye on him.
The only glitch? It lasted for 20 minutes before their son realized his mother was a fake and started wailing again. Still, the parents were encouraged and tried again. Although it has its limits, it still helps the father a little when his wife must leave the house.
Ah, well. Anything to get a little quiet in the room, right?
