Here’s some good – dare I say potentially great – news to cheer you up as we move on down the road to recovery this summer.
Apparently, the great lockdown prompted several very popular restaurants, hotels, and resorts to finally “spill the beans” on some of their most iconic recipes.
For example:
- If you’re a fast-food breakfast fan, McDonald’s on Twitter released the recipe for its Sausage and Egg McMuffin – all it takes is six ingredients and a metal egg cooking ring to make. (If you wanted to drop it in its natural habitat, the red and yellow smiley box, Mikey D’s even published a template on its website for do-it-yourselfers.)
- Dessert fanatics may be a tad disappointed to learn that Cheesecake Factory continues to keep their outrageously good cheesecake recipes sadly hidden from view. However, they have graciously offered a few tasty main menu favorites, including Vegan Cobb Salad, Chicken Taquitos, and Warm Crab and Artichoke Dip.
- Finally, the treasure trove of traveler delights – DisneyWorld – continues to unpack the secrets to a number of their fan favs: Mickey Mouse shaped beignets, the Tiki room’s famous Dole Whip, The Grey Stuff from the Beauty and the Beast themed “Be Our Guest” restaurant, and my favorite… Tonga Toast from Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
Yum.
Of course, none of these were offered solely out of the goodness of their corporate hearts. Each expects, I’m sure, that by giving the recipe a try at home, you’ll venture out to compare your home-cookin’ to the real McCoy as soon life gets back to a semblance of normal.
Of course, there’s nothing quite as satisfying as knowing you have a deliciously sound financial plan in place. Give us a call at 513-563-PLAN (7526) or book online to set up your free review today.
