We’ve been discussing behavior and how it can affect your future.

One South Carolina man did something that radically altered his future.

He vacuumed $5 in quarters out of his car and used it to buy a lottery ticket.

And… won a $250,000 lottery jackpot.

Whoa, Nellie! If that’s not encouragement to clean out your couch cushions and car looking for spare change, I don’t know what is!

The South Carolina man said it was by accident that he discovered he had picked up $5 in quarters when cleaning out his car. But he made a decision. He put the money toward buying a Maximum Money scratch-off ticket at a Publix store in Chapin.

The man said he planned to pay off debt, help his family, and do something fun. Good for him.

Behavior has consequences.

And although this story is an example of random action, the lucky man at least took action. What about you?

Are you going about your daily routine the same way you always do? Are you doing anything different to improve your life for the future?
