If we’ve been email pals for a while now, you’ll have heard me talk about why hiring a financial advisor might just be one of the best things you can do to ensure that you’re fully prepared to retire when you want.
Here are just a few of the ways that a good financial advisor can help you:
- Review all your money goals and compare them to what you’re doing now. Are you on track to achieve them?
- Plan out your roadmap to retirement and ensure you don’t run out of money before you stop needing it.
- Help you create an estate plan, so your heirs get what you want to leave them.
- Keep more of your own money by using tax-reduction and wealth distribution strategies that stop you from lining Uncle Sam’s pocketbook more than you should be.
- Assist you with diversified investment approaches that minimize the risk of loss
Pretty sweet, right?
If you’ve never worked with a financial advisor before, I understand that the idea can be daunting, especially for the DIY-er.
I won’t lie and say that all financial advisors are good. Some are little more than product pushers – so even if we never work together, find a holistic advisor who will help you with every aspect of your financial health. Kind of like a money doctor!
If you’re not sure you’re ready to work with a financial advisor, there are a few signs that you might need one:
- You’re not investing your savings.
- You don’t know how to invest.
- You don’t have a plan to address tax increases and inflation in your retirement roadmap.
- Estate plan – what estate plan?
- You’re too busy to manage your money and grow it.
- You have big goals, but you’re just not sure how to make them come to life.
So, in honor of finally wrapping my “New Year, New You” 30-Day Challenge – the last mission I’ll give you is to talk to a financial planner.
Many advisors, myself included, will speak with you (no strings attached) and discuss what it’d be like to work together. If it’s a fit, it might just be the best thing that’s ever happened to you financially.
Even if we never work together, I encourage you to get someone in your corner that will help you work towards the retirement you’ve always wanted.
Naturally, it’s not hard to get in touch if you want to take me up on my challenge. All you have to do is call 513-563-PLAN (7526) or click here to get in my calendar.
Either way – I wish you nothing but success!
