The weather outside is fantastic, and we are right in the depths of late spring – the time when everything is neither too hot nor too cold – it’s just perfect. So, what to do?
Sure, you could relax in your backyard lounger, but there’s a whole world out there and so many ways to enjoy it!
Going for a walk or a nature hike can be a relaxing and fun experience. I know many of us don’t associate “walking” with “fun,” but there is a lot to see and do out there, especially if you live near a trail or national park. The long-term benefits of walking include boosting not only your physical health but also your mental health.
If you prefer to get places a little faster, biking is another great way to be active. Mind you, it won’t get you there as quickly or conveniently as your car, but you can’t beat that freeing feeling of the wind whipping against you as you rocket down the road on a bike.
In most places, it will be warm enough to think about swimming as well! I have a feeling public pools might not be too popular this year, but if you have access to a private pool, swimming is another good way to get some exercise and beat the heat.
By the way, lounging in the pool with your favorite drink DOES count as swimming.
The great thing about summer/late spring activities is that they’re all so good for your health – and now that vaccines are so widespread, what you do is totally in your hands.
Your financial health? That’s more of an us thing. Book online, or give us a call at 513-563-PLAN (7526) to discuss how we can take you on a walk down that road known as “financial freedom.”
