Okay, so not everyone has or wants pets. We get that.
Maybe you’re not an animal person at all, or perhaps you don’t have the room or time to commit to an animal (some of them can be a lot of work!).
April 11th is National Pet Day, and even if you don’t have a furry, feathery, or scaly friend, you probably know someone who does. The purpose of this day’s naming is to appreciate pets in all their forms. Some people have dogs and cats. Some have fish, and others have snakes and lizards. Some even keep insects as pets! Insane, right?
Studies performed on mental and physical health by the National Institute of Health claim that having pets can improve your wellbeing (except, maybe when Rover decides to make the floor his fire hydrant).
Even admiring that cute puppy from across the road on your nightly walk counts as appreciating pets, so fawn away! People enjoy hearing about how much you love their pets – at least most do!
For those among you with pets, take the time to hug your dog or cat (if they or you can tolerate it), admire that swimmy little fish, have a chat with that bird, or whatever you want to do to celebrate your little pals.
I don’t have feathers that I’m aware of, but you can chat with me – about your financial future (see what I did there?). After all, pets factor into your plan, too!
Give me a call at 513-563-PLAN (7526) or click here to book a 15-minute chat, and you’ll see how a plan can truly benefit you and your family, furry or otherwise.
