In addition to being a great baseball player, Yogi Berra was known for some incredible quotes:

“No one goes there anymore. It’s too crowded.”

“When you see the fork in the road, take it.”

“It gets late early out there.”

“A nickel ain’t worth a dime anymore.”

And my personal favorite, “I never said most of the things I said.”

Silly, and yet all of these are full of truth.

Like a nickel not being worth a dime.

When I was born, you could buy a first-class stamp for a nickel. Today it’s 11 times that. Thank goodness for email!

Too often, I see retirement plans with little or no protection against inflation. And yet, 4% inflation will cause prices to double in 18 years.

Or, like Yogi might have said, a million dollars ain’t worth $500,000 these days.

If your plan doesn’t include a strategy to protect against inflation, schedule a brief call to learn more. The call is free (unlike stamps). Click here to book online or call 513-563-PLAN (7526).
