The next time you get down and into a blue funk about the general state of society, here’s at least a tiny glimmer of hope.
According to the tech website C/Net, you can now experience Armageddon in style and luxury.
Welcome to the “Survival Condo.”
Hidden in America’s heartland, just 200 miles from Kansas City, Survival Condo offers luxury living in case nuclear winter, the zombie apocalypse, or Yellowstone’s supervolcano makes “you know what” happen.
It’s not the standard 1950s fallout shelter you might imagine – black and white, canned goods, WW1 facemasks, and a calendar with a smiling Ike enjoying a round of golf.
Instead, it’s a converted Cold War nuclear missile launch facility. It’s retrofitted with 9-foot thick reinforced concrete walls – strong enough to withstand just about anything man or nature can throw against it, from tornados to 12-kiloton nuclear warheads landing a half-mile away.
After you get past the high security guarded entry point, you’ll enter the domed top floor of the facility. It’s a perfect place to hang out with friends and family – fully equipped with communal recreation area. This includes a pet park, climbing wall, and swimming pool with water slide.
Heading down, the structure’s top 3 floors include medical facilities, a food store, and mechanical units (power, air conditioning, hydroponics, etc.). Then you get to choose your post-apocalyptic lifestyle unit from seven levels of luxury residential condos – equipped with stainless steel appliances, stylish furniture, and TV panels built into the walls to give the illusion of a view of the outside world.
Finally, when you reach the lowest levels, the final four floors provide a movie theater, library, bar, and even a workout facility (even when the world ends, you’ll want to stay in shape).
Of course, you don’t get all this for nothing. Condos start at $1 Million, with monthly fees of $2,500 to cover electricity, water, internet, and all the freeze-dried deliciousness you can handle.
While I can heartily agree with the principle of “being prepared,” I think you should first make sure you have a solid plan for financial success just in case the massively unthinkable doesn’t happen. That’s just wise. Call us today at 513-563-PLAN (7526) or book online.
