Way back when Adam West ruled the airwaves as the Caped Crusader, his arch-nemesis “The Riddler” would pose puzzles that, unless solved in time, would lead to dire consequences in ever-endangered Gotham City.

In that spirit – albeit absent any hint of danger – are three fun riddles posed recently online by Readers Digest magazine. Give each your best guess before checking out the answer in the associated PS below. Enjoy!

  1. I speak without a mouth and hear without ears. I have no body, but come alive with the wind. What am I?
  2. What is seen in the middle of March and April that can’t be seen at the beginning or end of either month?
  3. What disappears as soon as you say its name?
  4. What are the next three letters in this combination: O T T F F S S

No matter how you did, planning your retirement shouldn’t be a puzzle. Give us a call today at 513-563-PLAN (7526) or book online, and we’ll find a solution perfect for you.

PS1: This riddle attempts to trick you into thinking about body parts, but the answer’s much less literal – an echo.

PS2: This gets you thinking about holidays or the weather or something associated with that season and time of year. But instead, it’s spelling – the letter “r”.

PS3: You want to think logically here… and it is logical, but not in the step-by-step manner you might think – silence.

PS4: This is a hard one… until you realize that letters represent the first letter of a numeric sequence: One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven – therefore E, N, T.
